Theatre Performances Dates This Week

Happy Autumn everyone! Busy week ahead!

Theatre: The Flowers of May

THE FLOWERS OF MAY is entering the final leg of it's 2023 tour this week after a short break over the summer. The Market Place Theatre in Armagh is the next destination for David and Lisa!

THE FLOWERS OF MAY tells the story of two parents who are raising a child with Autism. Together they journey through the joys and challenges of being a parent of a child with ASD.

Along the way they have to deal with patronising in-laws, exclusionary neighbours while also trying to get past their own differences." It's directed by Emma Saunders and performed by Eileen Gomez and myself.

We've been overwhelmed with the response it has gotten so far, particularly from families with autistic children, and we're incredibly grateful for all the support the show has received so far.

THE FLOWERS OF MAY will be performed in The Marketplace Theatre on September 21st at 8 p.m. Tickets can be booked at: https://visitarmagh.com/places-to-explore/the-market-place-theatre-arts-centre/

Theatre: Champions

A performed reading of Peter Trant's new play "CHAMPIONS" will take place upstairs in The Squealing Pig Bar & Restaurant on Friday September 22nd as part of Culture Night.

June 1985, "The Clones Cyclone" blows into London Town to challenge for the World Featherweight Title and four people are thrown together in a Sheperd's Bush Hotel. Turns out Barry isn't the only one spoiling for a fight!

Performed by Gerry Coyle, Tessa Fleming, Declan Reynolds and myself, the performance starts at 9p.m. and is free in but seating is limited so get in early!
